Our Story
Elegant Bridal is a charming boutique tucked in the 2nd floor of a storefront along Mount Horeb's Main Street. The Owners, Marah Droessler and Eric Odgers, purchased the Bridal Shop and Vintage Boutique in the summer of 2005. The shop is full of character in it's collection of fantastic bridal and vintage fashions. The historic architecture and eclectic decor make Elegant Bridal a magical and playful place to visit while planning your wedding day or shopping for an amazing cocktail dress for your next big event! The bridal inventory is unique and unlike any other in the hand selection of gowns that have luscious shapes, rich fabrics and interesting detail. The collection consists of classic, glamorous gowns of silk charmeuse with minimal decor, to princess gowns with beautiful and elaborate beaded laces. The incredible collection of vintage wedding gowns from the 1920's to the 1970's will tempt any lady looking for a completely unique look.
The Owner and Manager, Marah, has a background in design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying initially in the fashion design program and eventually graduating with a degree in Interior Design. Marah worked in the Interior Design field for several years, but finally realized that the corporate world was not for her. When the opportunity arose to own a one of a kind bridal and vintage boutique, she jumped at the chance. It has truly been the perfect mix for Marah. She has been able to live the dream of owning and operating her own business. Not only has she had the opportunity to pursue her love of fashion, but she is able to use her interior design skills to create a lovely and welcoming environment for brides and shoppers.
